ProtoCAM is conducting a no-cost Lunch & Learn event on Thursday, October 8th, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This event is presented by the Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC). Join us as Ed Graham, Vice President of Additive Manufacturing at ProtoCAM, discusses “Additive Manufacturing for Production.” This event is made possible thanks to funding assistance through the MEP National Emergency Assistance Program.
Graham will discuss how the additive manufacturing (AM) industry has evolved to be efficient for scale production. 3D printing is no longer limited to prototypes or even tooling; the idea that AM is only for complex parts and only for low quantities is being disproven by AM systems coming to and currently on the market. Graham will share how 3D printing is impacting the choice of materials and creating design advantages to deliver production parts without tooling, while shortening traditional lead times. A demonstration and tour of our facility following Graham’s presentation will present ProtoCAM’s efficiency in meeting production requirements. This event will begin at the MRC (7200A Windsor Drive, Allentown, PA 18106), and attendees will head over to our facility at 6620 Grant Way in Allentown for a tour of our facility following lunch and the presentation
Management, Supply Chain Associates, Engineers, Design Engineers, Manufacturing Operations, Continuous Improvement, Material Management, and any other professionals interested in trends in 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing are encouraged to attend this event. Attendees can expect to learn about advancements in 3D Printing and how the technology can be used for larger scale production.
Proper social distancing and other hygiene protocols will be followed; attendees are required to wear a mask into the event presentation, and may remove their mask once seated to eat. Seating for the presentation will be socially distanced, and masks are required for the following tour of ProtoCAM. We appreciate your cooperation with these important safety guidelines.
